After years of spending time at the beach I developed an affiity with beach birds. It seems as though my feathered beach bums are not so different than myself soaking up the sun, playing in the surf, just gazing out to the ocean and worlds beyond.... I admire the community of most feathered friends enjoying each other's company.
Overall a passive bunch however, just as with any group of species, one discovers a few unsavory bums. There are beach thieves that descend upon you from out of the beautiful blue sky and break into your beach goodies. There are aggressive guys fighting over some morsel thrown to them. There are the sweet tweets who have an underlying agenda, it is all about them. Yep- there are a few in every crowd!
I hope you enjoy these images of my beach birds- maybe you shall see yourself or a friend in some of them... just hold the squawking down to a minimum and enjoy your flight!
