To the leftis a pdf link to open an article I wrote for the local newspaper about the 2021 Annual Veterans Softball Tournament. . . . Requested per the sports editor, it was submitted with a photo from the opening ceremony of that day. Although it was never published, it was passed along to a few D4 players and posted on an American Legion site I have maintained for many years. Writing for the American Legion for several years, researching and writing about our military history and interviewing vets was a logical inclusion on that site.
It has been my personal mission to interview and write about veterans and their personal life chapters, honoring all who have served and their families personal sacrifices. I intend to cover and promote all future softball tournaments for vets on my website respectfully.
